After the Vietnam’s successful fight against the spread of coronavirus, Thailand on Wednesday achieved an achievement by reporting no new virus cases for the first time in over two months.

Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health said in a statement that they haven’t reported no daily increase of cases since March 9. Until Tuesday, the country had recorded single-digit increases for eight consecutive days.

Since the outbreak, there were only 3,017 cases in Thailand; out of the total number of cases, 2,844 patients have fully recovered from the new coronavirus.
