UAE revises sterilization period from 8pm to 6am; groceries to remain open 24 hours

Strating Ramadan 27, the new schedule for sterilization measure will be from 8pm to 6am.

Ramadan 27 is predicted to fall on May, but it will depend as per the Islamic calendar.

Eid Al Fitr holidays will either start on May 22 or 23, depending on the moon sighting. The new schedule covers Eid break as per the new rule, Gulf News reported.

During the new sterilization period, malls and shopping centres will be open from 9am to 7pm. Food outlets, groceries and and pharmacies will remain open 24 hours a day.
