Amazon reports 7th Covid-19 worker death

A warehouse worker in Amazon US has reportedly died to Covid-19, he is the seventh employee to have succumbed to the virus.

The a The Verge report, the warehouse worker died on April 30 after contracting the disease in IND8 in Indianapolis.

The latest death represent the second Amazon employee to die in the state.

Amazon workers in Jeffersonville, Indiana; Staten Island and Bethpage, New York; Waukegan, Illinois; and Hawthorne and Tracy, California, are also confirmed to have died after contracting COVID-19.

To date, there have been at least 800 workers under Amazon who have tested positive for the virus.
