UAE announces more Covid-19 recoveries than new cases for the very first time

The Ministry of Health and Prevention in UAE, for the very first time, announced more Covid-19 recoveries at 1,065 than new cases on Tuesday, May 18.

The country registers 1,065 recoveries, the highest ever recorded since they’ve started tallying the cases, recoveries and deaths. The total number of recoveries is now at 9,577.

While this may seem a good news, however, the country also registers 832 fresh cases of Covid-19 infection, bringing the total number to 24,190.

Country’s death toll, on the other hand, is now at 224.
