Number of Filipinos abroad with Covid-19 rises to 2,455; death toll stands at 284

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Wednesday reported 24 new Covid-19 cases among Filipinos abroad, taking the total number of cases to 2,455.

Meanwhile, nine new recoveries have also been reported. The total number of Filipinos abroad who have recovered from the virus is now 858. In a data posted on its official Facebook page, DFA also reported four new deaths, pushing the number of death related to Covid-19 to 284 or 35 percent of the total confirmed cases.

The number of Filipinos abroad who are undergoing treatment is now 1,313.
