As the host country registers the death 48 Filipinos due to the coronavirus, a top official from the Philippine Consulate in Dubai warned Filipino expats to be careful as virus threat still remains amid easing of restrictions.
“Keep taking the necessary precautions. The restrictions on the movement of people may have been eased by the virus threat still remains and thus, we wouldn’t still encourage people to be more cautious and perhaps continue staying home instead,” Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes said in a dailybread.news.blog.
Cortes reiterated the medical professionals’ advice, including wearing masks and gloves, and washing hands frequently, among others.
