The official website of the Philippine Overseas Labor Offices in Dubai is currently unavailable for the public as of ths moment as site is under ongoing maintenance.
“Temporarily closed for construction,” the message read.
Thousands of Filipino expats visit the website to apply for the AED730 cash assistance for the displaced OFWs.
“Thank you for being patient. We are doing some work on the site and will be back shortly,” the message added.
The Global Filipino Magazine also learned that the agency has temporarily suspended the cash assistance application in Dubai since May 11.
No further notice has been announced on its social media accounts when they will resume receiving applications.
According to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), they’ve already distributed the USD200 cash assistance to more than 100,000 OFWs.
