The Philippine government is now speeding up the processing and releasing of Covid-19 results of the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in an effort to free up quarantine facilities and accommodate more repatriates in the coming weeks.
The statement from the Malacanang through Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque comes after Presidential Peace Adviser and National Task Force Covid-19 Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez said that some 42,000 OFWs will be returning to the Philippines within May and June.
