30-Day #PlankChallenge by @kayla_itsines completed! When the right person challenges you to commit to an exercise routine during a pandemic lockdown you better say yes! Not only has this #PlankChallenge done wonders by strengthening and defining my core, but more importantly: it has helped me stay motivated and mentally healthy during these times! The daily commitment, sweat and time dedicated to such a simple challenge is a good reminder that you are in fact working toward a goal (#AbsOfSteel) – just like we are all staying home right now to work toward the common goal of ensuring everyone’s current and future health and safety. It is a great way to utilize your body to strengthen your mind as it requires a healthy state of mind to perform the exercise in the first place! This challenge takes less than 20 minutes but has helped me get through each day feeling accomplished, confident and empowered. I highly recommend you find an exercise that you can realistically commit to on a daily basis and challenge yourself to reaching your next physical and mental potential. Oh and did I mention that it also cleared up my skin? 😉 Swipe left to see the journey highlights from Day 1 to Day 30 ?? #pleasureofplanking #coretraining #mentalhealth #mindmotivation #homeexercise #lockdownlifestyle #safefitness #stayhome #stayfit
