A 107-year-old woman from Iran has successfully beaten the deadly coronavirus.

Saltanat Akbari was reportedly beat the novel coronavirus at a hospital called Khansari in the central city of Arak, Iran. She was allowed to leave the hospital after spending ‘some time’ in isolation.’

“She defeated the virus with the help of doctors and nurse at the hospital,” Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency reported.

Currently, Iran has 133,521 Covid-19 cases with 7,359 deaths, making it the hardest-hit country in the Middle East.

Last week, Iran reported that some 10,000 medical professionals have tested positive for the virus.
