Hundreds of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who are among the stranded 24,000 individuals in the quarantine facilities for nearly two months are now going home.
The order was made by President Rodrigo Duterte. These OFWs have already completed the 14-day mandatory quantine and have tested negative for the virus.
Many of these returnees have either lost their jobs or tourist visa holders abroad and can’t no longer afford to sustain their everyday living.
