The list of overseas Filipino workers who have tested negative for the novel coronavirus is now getting viral online as it consists of Chinese sounding names.

In a post by GMA news anchor Raffy Tima on Twitter, he tells his followers that an OFW stuck in quarantine in Manila sent him a screen grab of the list who have tested negative for the disease.

The person who sent the screen grab was not on the list but a number of Chinese sounding names are listed. The OFW was tested three weeks ago.

The list includes names such as ‘Xiao Jiang Zhai, Ziao Liao Liao, Yan A’ and a long list of Chinese names.

The sender asks Tima, ‘OFWs sila?’

Tima’s tweet has received more than 200 replies, nearly 3,000 retweets, and over 6,000 likes.

“Are we using Philippine money and resources to test Chinese foreign workers in the country?” one comment read.

Others ask why there are Chinese in the list when there is an existing travel ban for foreigners.

“Kaya pala di na mailabas ng resulta ng test kasi inuna na ang mga Chinese,” one Twitter user replied.
