The Ministry of Health and Prevention in the UAE announced 638 new Covid-19 cases in the country and two more deaths related to the virus.
The total number of cases now in the country is now 33,170, MOHAP confirmed.
The two casualties reported on Friday are of different nationalities and died due to complications that resulted from being infected with the virus.
On the same day, the health ministry also announced the recovery of 412 patients, taking the total number of recoveries to 17,097.
The new cases were the result of more than 36,000 additional Covid-19 tests.
