Abu Dhabi authorities have announced the travel restrictions in and out of the emirate starting on Tuesday, June 2.
The measure is part of its ongoing measure to combat the spread the new coronavirus.
Travel between Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain and Dhafra will also be suspended.
The travel restrictions will run for a week, until Tuesday, June 9.
Special permits will be available for essential workerss, the transports of essential goods, and for medical visits.
The new rule came as officials announced the easing of certain Covid-19 restrictions from Monday, June 1.
