The sub-task group in the Philippines has recently clarified that all repatriated OFWs and non-OFWs are still required to undergo mandatory quarantine in any government quarantine facility or hotel accredited by the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), until they reeive their RT-PCR test results providing them to be negative for the novel coronavirus.
The latest announcement was made after the Facebook page of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) claimed on May 31 that all OFWs residing in NCR can do home quarantine provided that they can prove that they are residents of NCR starting June 1.
“Please disregard all previous announcements regarding home quarantine for returning OFWs or non-OFWs,” the new announcement read.
