A new passport renewal centre in the UAE has been opened at the World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi on June 12, celebration of 122nd Philippine Independence Day.
The new passport renewal centre in the UAE is the second facility; the first was opened in Wafi Mall in Dubai on November last year.
The facilities are being operated by VFS Global, a visa outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide.
“A befittin gift to Filipinos in the UAE on the ocassion of Philippine Independence Day is the opening of the PaRC (Passport Renewal Centre) facility in Abu Dhabii. It is also very timely, given the need to reduce travel and observe strict physical distancing and other health protocols during the pandemic,” Philippine Ambassador the UAE Hjayceelyn Quintana told Gulf Today.
The latest facility offer operates from Friday and Saturday in addition to the regular working days from Sunday to Thursday.
The passport renewal centre is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
The exact location of the facility is at Level B2, The Mall, World Trade Centre, Khalifa bin Zayed the 1st Street (Airport Road), Abu Dhabi.
Online appointment is strictly made to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
