Philippine Airlines has recently announced that it will be cancelling two repatriation flights from Dubai to Manila for the month of June as Covid-19 testing and quarantine limitation in place in Manila International arrivals.
Flights cancelled include 16 June 2020 PR659 and 23 June 2020 PR659.
Meanwhile, the remaining flight for June 30 is still pending re-confirmation from the Inter-Agency Task Force of the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF).
“We will update once we get the information,” PAL’s statement for travel agencies noted.
“We seek the kind understanding of our passengers for these latest developments beyond our control. Please note that we may need to make further changes to our flight schedules, including cancellations or other adjustments set by the concerned government authorities, who are focused primarily on promoting and protecting public health during these critical times,” the circular added.
Affected passengers, on the other hand, are urged to call their respective agents where the ticket is purchased or email PAL at pr_dubai@pal.com.ph for Dubai residents and pr_abudhabi@pal.com.ph for Abu Dhabi for rebooking to the next available flight.
