“Hindi ko in-expect to, legit sya,” Facebook user Clarice Reyes said referring to the one-time cash assistance (AED730) confirmation she received today two months after she applied for the AKAP program for displaced OFWs.
Reyes posted on her Facebook the email she received from POLO Dubai. She also revealed that she has submitted the requirements in April and has just received the confirmation email today, June 15.
“I even emailed and called POLO-OWWA na sana mga kasama ko na lang sa work ma-approve kahit huwag na ako. Grabe, by date daw po ang bigayan. Don’t lose hope!” she wrote.
The one-time cash assistance is given to Filipinos overseas who have been terminated and on a no-work-no-pay scheme.
