Authorities in UAE are now imposing a strict Covid-19 preventive measure to ensure residents are safely visiting healthcare facilities, shopping centres, and offices while also maintaining the mandatory social distancing.
Now, residents visiting hospitals or clinics should arrive on time for their allotted appointment. Failure to do so violators will face a penalty of AED1,000.
“The fines and penalties for violation of precautionary measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 include AED1,000 for visiting a healthcare facility other than at the prearranged times set out by the Ministry of Health and Prevention, or for unnecessary situations,” the ministry said in a statement.
