New travel guides for OFWs returning to Philippines revealed

Are you an OFW abroad and planning to go back to the Philippines? Below are the new travel guides posted by the Philippine Embassy in Saudi Arabia for returning Filipinos. 

Step 1 – Registration

Returning OFWs should register online via https://e-cif.redcross.org.ph/ or scan the QR code in the post. A clear photo needs to be attached in the bio-page. 

Step 2 – Email confirmation and QR code

Travellers will receive a confirmation email and QR code. Save it in your phone or print the QR code.

Step 3 – Briefing

Upon arrival at the airport, a briefing will be held and tackle the process. 

Step 4 – Verification and barcoding 

Go to the Verification Counter and show the QR code. You will be given six barcode stickers by the representatives. Place one barcode sticker on your passport. 

Step 5 – Swab testing

You will be required to go to one of the Testing Booths inside the airport. Give the remaining five barcode stickers to the swabber. 

Step 6 – Immigration

Go to the immigration counter and show them your passport with the barcode sticker. 

Step 7 – Quarantine Facility Assignment

To know your Quarantine Centre Assignment, go the following desks if you are 

OFW – OWWA

Seafarer with Local Manning Agency – LMA

Non-OFW Returning Filipino – DOT

Step 8 – Result 

The result will be sent via an SMS message and email within 72 hours.
