There are certain charity organizations in the country that actually offer financial assistance during the global Covid-19 pandemic.
They’ve stepped up efforts in helping residents in need as many residents have been terminated or on a no-work-no-pay scheme.
Below are the steps and process on how to seek for assistance:
Dar Al Ber
To seek financial assistance, one must visit www.daralber.ae/helprequest. Due to a huge number of residents who want to avail of the program, the page may not work at times.
One can reach out by calling +971 4 352 3333 to find out when an applicant can submit the request again.
Required documents to request for financial assistance, you need to send the following:
1Passport and residency visa copies
-Emirates ID copies
-Updated salary certificates / non-employment certificate
-Tenancy contract
-Proof of school fees
-Three-month bank statement
Beit Al Khair
To request for financial assistance, one can email info@beitalkhair.org. You also need to provide details of your case, contact information and any supporting documents.
Sharjah Charity International
To submit a request for financial assistance, you may visit www.shjc.sharjah.ae/Assistance
They offer rent, medical or school fee assistance but you would need to provide the following documents:
-Detailed message explaining the negative results and your suffering during the current crisis.
-Copy of the ID cards of all family members and valid visa of the husband and wife.
-A letter from the sponsor, employer or company confirming that income is stopped with the started date of adjusting/stopping the income.
-Three-month bank statement.
-A valid lease contract.
