Filipino expat in Kuwait hangs self due to depression

An unidentified Filipino expat in Kuwait has reportedly killed himself due to depression. 

According to an online report of arabtimesonline.com, the expat has committed suicide in Al-Nugra area, some 8.2km away from Kuwait City. 

The report noted that the Filipino expat was living on the 4th floor and for the last three days, he did not leave the apartment where he was living. 

“He was suffering from depression recently,” the report mentioned. 

The report did not the whereabouts of the Filipinos, not did they interview a close friend.

Residents, who checked in on him, found him hanging with a rope suspending from the ceiling. 

The Department of Foreign Affairs in the Philippines hasn’t made a statement regarding the issue.
