Two police officers assigned at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) have tested positive for the new coronavirus, an official from the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) confirmed.

According to MIAA’s Public Affairs Department officer-in-charge Consuelo Bungag that two cases were asymptomatic or showing no symptoms.

He further revealed that the officers are now under strict home quarantine measures at their respective villages.

So far, MIAA has around 11 workers at the airport who have tested for Covid-19; six of them are permanent employees and two were police officers.
