Since the airline company that he’s working for, a Filipino flight attendant has decided to make extra income from selling pares on the street in La Union.
Philippine Airlines Flight Attendant Michael Jacob Pornel shared on social media a series of photos where he is seen selling the street food.
“Ano man ang narating or estado mo sa buhay basta malinis ang hangarin at nasa tama, huwag mong ikahiya ang ginagawa mo para umunlad. Diskarte at sakripisyo mo ang bubuhay sayo at sa pamilya mo, hindi ang opinyon ng iba,” Pornel wrote.
His Facebook has now garnered more than 34,000 reactions, 3,700 comments, and 22,000 shares as of this writing.
“Salute to you sir since our industry was hit hard the most by the virus, diskarteng malupit para masustain ang daily needs ng pamilya. Gagawa ng mga ilalako. Looking forward para bumangon ulit ang tourism at hospitality industry, sana’y ma-meet ko kayo sa mga flights namin,” one comment reads.
