Abu Dhabi now lifts movement restrictions; exiting the city no longer require permit

As the Abu Dhabi authorities completed the National Sterilization Program in the capital, residents can now move freely within the emirate.

“Following the completion of the National Sterilization Programme, Abu Dhabi residents may move freely within the emirate, with no restrictions, starting from tonight,” Abu Dhabi Media Office posted.

Meanwhile, exiting the emirate does not require one to secure an online permit.

However, the entry ban to Abu Dhabi remains in place, except for pre-exempted categories.
