Covid-19 cases among Filipinos overseas rise to 8,432; no new recoveries reported


The Department of Foreing Affairs (DFA) reported 15 new Covid-19 cases among Filipinos abroad on Saturday, taking the total number of cases to 8,432. 

DFA also announced that the recoveries remained at 5,081 and the death toll is still at 536. 

“With only five countries in the Americas, Asia, and the Pacific, and Europe reporting on the status of our people abroad today (June 27), the DFA confirms 15 new Covid-19 cases among Filipinos abroad. Moreover, no new recoveries and fatalities were reported today,” the advisory noted.
