All vehicles entering Abu Dhabi to be checked for Covid-19 test results

-

All vehicles entering the emirate of Abu Dhabi will be checked by the government to ensure all individuals have tested negative for Covid-19.

Officials will be designated at checkpoint areas in the entrance of Abu Dhabi. Individuals are urged not to attempt to enter the capital without the negative test result for Covid-19 as it may cause unnecessary pressure on checkpoints and delays for other individuals.

“Abu Dhabi’s individuals is a preventive measure based on several factors and indicators, with the objective of reducing the possibility of infection between locations in general and supporting the completion of the National Screening Programme, approved by the Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disaster Committee for the Covid-19 pandemic. Hundreds of thousands of tests across all groups in Abu Dhabi society have been conducted and all are still ongoing,” the statement read.
