The ashes of a former overseas Filipino worker in UAE have been returned to his family in Carrangalan, Nueva Ecija.
Richard Castro’s ashes arrived to his family last June 16, days before his 40th day of death.
Marife Castro, Richard’s wife, in a Facebook post, thanked all those who became instruments to help their family repatriate her husband’s ashes.
She also mentioned that with the passing of her husband, the two of her children give her strength and inspiration to live.
Richard’s remains were cremated in UAE on May 18 and stored in a crematorium here.
He was working as a security guard in UAE and was admitted in a health facility on May 3 after persistent fever.
Richard was announced dead on May 11.
