Change to UAE government is coming tomorrow, Shiekh Mohammed announced

-

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took on Twitter on Saturday that he would announce the restructured government tomorrow, July 4 at 12 noon.

“We had promised to make changes to the UAE government by merging ministries and changing authorities so as to make it more flexible, adaptable to changes and quicker,” he said.

It was reported two months ago that he pledged that he would make changes to the current government as part of the country’s post-Covid strategy.

“We need a flexible government to deal with the changes and new national priorities. The world will not be the same after Covid-19,” he tweeted on May 13.
