Starting July 7, Dubai will start to welcome foreigners on tourist and visit visas.
Below are the requirements you should complete if you’re planning to visit the country:
1. Travel Health Insurance
-As what have Emirates airline said on its website, tourists must have travel insurance with Covid-19 cover or declare that they would bear the costs for treatment and isolation if required. The document must be presented at one of the check-in counters.
2. Visa
-Securing a visa depends on the nationality of the visitor or tourist. Some can get a visa on arrival while others need to apply for a visit visa from Dubai immigration before you travel.
3. Health Declaration Form
-Visitors are required to complete the Health Declaration form which can be downloaded here. The form states that the traveler is free of disease and any symptoms. This needs to be fulfilled before traveling.
4. Tracing App
-All incoming tourists are required to download the Covid-19 DXB app and register their details. “This is critically important since it facilitates easy coordination and communication with the health authorities if tourists experience Covid-19 symptoms,” authorities in Dubai had earlier announced.
If a tourist is suspected to have Covid-19 symptoms, officials at the Dubai airports have the right to re-test them to ensure that he or she is Covid-19-free.
Those tourists who will test positive for Covid-19 at the Dubai airports shall isolate themselves at an institutional facility provided by the government for 14 days at their own expense.
