Over 70,000 OFWs repatriated as of July 5, DFA confirms

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has facilitated the repatriation of 70,386 distressed overseas Filipinos as of 5 July 2020.

A total of 34,760 of which are land-based workers, while 35,626 are seafarers.

Lead by the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs (OUMWA), the DFA remains committed to promoting and protecting the welfare of overseas Filipinos wherever in the world.
