The Philippine government has now approved the lifting of non-essential outbound travel of its citizens on Monday.
“Lahat ng travel restriction kaugnay ng mga outbound travel ng mga Pilipino ay inalis na rin po,” presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said in a press briefing.
The government’s Covid-19 task force will set an outline and announced requirements for outbound travels of Filipinos in the coming days.
The pre-requisite includes showing of confirmed roundtrip tickets for passengers with tourist visas, in addition to travel health insurance.
