Abu Dhabi confirms all private healthcare facilities now free of Covid-19 patients

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health (DoH) announced tht all private healthcare facilities in the city are now free of Covid-19 patients. 

All facilities, including those of VPS Healthcare and NMC Healthcare in addition to Al Ain Khaleej Hospital in Al Ain are now confirmed to be free of Covid-19 cases. 

These entities are expected to resume providing healthcare services to patients. 

Many hospitals now in the capital are now assigned to exclusively receive and treat Covid-19 patients, including Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Hospital in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Hospital in Al Ain. 

“Today we are harvesting fruits from the labor of our brave frontline workers, who alongside our wise leadership have been pivotal in the fight against the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic,” Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi, Acting Undersecretary of DoH told Gulf News.
