UAE residents with expired residence visas, entry permits told to renew documents

- Advertisment -

Starting Sunday, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship will resume its services, including receiving renewal applications for expired residency visas and Emirates IDs.

The authority advised the residents to renew their expired ID cards, especially those who are present in the country.

From Sunday, the government agency will receive renewal applications for residency visas and ID cards that expired between March and April.

Meanwhile, those residents whose residence visa expired in May, their application will be accepted on August 8.

On the other hand, the documents that expired between June 1 and June 11 will start being accepted as renewal applications from September 10.

Moreover, the renewal applications of documents that will be expired July 12 onwards will not be restricted to a specific date.

It was earlier reported that the UAE Cabinet has decided to cancel its decision to extend the validity of visas and entry permit for those in the IAE from March 1 until December 31.
