UPDATE: Visit visa holders in UAE should leave by August 10 or pay fines for overstay

- Advertisment -

Visit visa holders in UAE are only given two options: either leave the country before August 10 or face fines for overstay.

According to a Gulf News report, the deadline if they’re leaving the country would be on August 10, exactly 30 days from July 12.

The UAE Cabinet has recently canceled its decision to extended the validity of expired residency visas and entry permits. It was confirmed on Sunday by a senior official from the immigration department that the decision covers tourists in the country.

This applies to holders of entry permits, which include visit visas and tourists visa, that expired after March 1.

What if my visa expires before March 1?

It was previously reported that all tourist and visit visa holders are to leave the country anytime between May 18 and August 18 to get a waiver on penalties of overstay. No further updates or available reports are made as of this writing.
