Philippines now allows entry of foreigners starting August 1

-

The Philippines is now allowing the entry of foreign nationals with long-term visas in the country starting August 1.

The entry of foreign nationals was announced today by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).

However, the agency set conditions prior to the entry of tourists, noting that they should have valid and existing visas at the time of entry. No new entry visa will be accepted.

As returning Filipinos being prioritized at the ports, foreigners are subject to the maximum capacity.
