Philippine government officials have gathered at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City on July 19 to hold a ‘heroes welcome’ as the remains of 88 deceased overseas Filipino workers from Saudi Arabia arrived.
In a video posted by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on its official Facebook page, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr., and other government officials are present in the ceremony to honor the repatriated heroes.
Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Deputy Administrator Mocha Uson was also spotted in the ceremony.
