DFA confirms 135 new Covid-19 cases among Filipinos abroad; total now 9,136

At the start of this brand new week, the DFA reports that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among our Filipinos abroad has passed the 9,100 mark with 135 new confirmed cases today mostly from the Middle East. The number of patients undergoing treatment has also passed the 3,100 mark, with 39 new recoveries and 10 new fatalities due to COVID-19 among our nationals.

Figures today also show that two more countries in the African region were added to the list, bringing the total number of countries/ regions with COVID-19 cases among Filipinos to 67. No new updates were received from the American region today.
