Etihad to passengers flying from Manila: No PCR test, no flight

Abu Dhabi’s largest airline company Etihad has issued a travel advisory for passengers bound from Manila to the capital.

In its website, it explains that those passengers from Manila whose journey will be in Abu Dhabi will be required to present a negative Covid-19 PCR test result before they’re allowed to fly.

The test results must be valid within 72 hours of the traveler’s trip and issued by an approved medical facility.

“Arrange your PCR test 72 hours before your trip and remember to print your test results–you’ll need to present them at the airport. If you do not have a PCR test certificate, you will not be permitted to board,” Etihad clarified.

Those passengers who will get a Covid-19 positive result will not be permitted to board no matter what.

As part of its preventive measures, all passengers are required to wear face masks at all times and wash hands at regular intervals.
