Over 200 terminated OFWs from Dubai arrive at NAIA Terminal 2 today

-

More than 200 overseas Filipino workers who have been terminated from their job posts in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 on Tuesday.

In GMA’s 24 News Alert, the OFWs have been terminated due to Covid-19 pandemic; some of them were working in the food, beverage, and restaurant service sector, while others were from the sales and retail office as well as the construction sector.

Citing the latest data from the Department of Foreign Affairs last week, more than 90,000 OFWs have already been repatriated since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
