As Oman records over a thousand Covid-19 cases each day, the country is all set to declare full lockdown starting July 25 until August.
The period cover the Eid Al Adha holidays.
During the lockdown period, the movement will be banned and all public places and stores will be closed from 7pm until 6am.
Security patrols, meanwhile, will be intensified in an effort to curb the spread of the new coronavirus.
