Sixteen more Filipinos have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the Asia Pacific and Europe, bring the total confirmed cases abroad to 9,208, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed.
In its latest data, the Middle East and Northern African region has the highest number of infections among Filipinos with 6,610, followed by Europe with 1,090, the Asia Pacific with 807, and the Americas with 701.
It also noted that the number of recoveries rose to 5,387 with the new nine new reports in the Asia Pacific.
No new deaths have been reported since July 22, retaining the death toll to 647.
