Remains of 88 OFWs who died in Saudi Arabia arrived in Philippines

The remains of 88 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who died of various causes from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) arrived at the Balagbag Apron Arrival, NAIA Terminal 3 in Pasay City, on July 19, 2020, Sunday.

The second batch of repatriated remains, in which 11 came from Jeddah, 28 from Dammam and 39 from Riyadh, were carried by a chartered Philippine Airlines flight.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin Jr., Labor Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III, former Labor Secretary Marianito D. Roque, along with other government officials, took part during the ceremonial heroes welcome.
