Returning pregnant OFWs complain of ‘dirty’ quarantine facility; demand for cleaner space

- Advertisment -

A group of returning and pregnant overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) complained about ‘dirty’ and not decent quarantine facility, calling the attention of the government to place them in a safe place while they’re waiting for the Covid-19 test result.

Len, not her real name, messaged The Global Filipino Magazine that she and the other pregnant ladies boarded the PR659 Philippine Airline from Dubai arrived last August 3 and currently housed at Astrotel Hotel Guadalupe.

She added that it was unfair for them to stay in the uncleaned hotel as they are pregnant, adding it’s not good for their health.

“[We’re not asking for] 5-star hotel, basta malinis at decent place [okay na]. They have never prioritized us,” she further added.

In a series of shared videos, Len shared how small the isle is when going to the hotel, and how the toilet bowl stained with a yellowish color.
