Starting today, returning expats with valid residence visa are no longer need to apply entry permits issued by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) to enter the country.

Automatic approval will be granted to expats who wish to return to UAE.

ICA, however, recommends travelers to upload their data, including ID, passport, and nationality on this website.

Despite opening the airport for returning expats and visitors, UAE is still requiring them to secure a negative PCR Covid-19 test result from a government-accredited laboratory.
