A 33-year old Filipina nurse continues to work as a frontline hero and look after Covid-19 patient despite the fact that she’s set to give birth to her first son this month.

Karmi Erika Abunan continues her duty after her family’s repeated appeal to stay at home.

“Alam sa work place ko kung ilang beses ako pina-stop. I tried to explain them and I stand sa decision ko na pumasok pa rin. Sabi ko sa kanila trabaho nga po namin iyon at paano yung mga patient namin. Hindi porket nakakangiti pa po kami hindi kami napapagod,” she said in a Facebook post.
