People with expired UAE visit visa holders have only four days to leave the country or change the status without paying fines.

This covers those tourists whose visas have expired after March 1, 2020.

Citing the latest announcement from the Federal Authority for Identity Citizenship (ICA), holders of expired visit visas have only been given a month, starting August 11, to exit UAE without paying fines before September 11.

ICA added that they have another option if they wish to stay in the country without paying fines–and this is to obtain a visit/tourist or employment visa.

In case the visa holders didn’t renew his status, overstay fines will be imposed.
