- Advertisment -

Good news! Dubai taxi vans are now allowed to take up to four passengers if travel is booked via Hala.

Although four people can be accommodated in taxi vans, regular taxis are still regulated to accept only two customers.

“Due to the two rows of passenger seating present in Hala van taxi, four passengers can sit two to a row, to maintain social distancing. The price for the taxi van service is identical to the price for a regular taxi,” Hala announced.

How to open a taxi van

1. Open the Careem app and select ‘Hala Taxi’

2. Confirm your pick-up location, and enter your destination

3. Choose ‘Hala-Van Taxi’ from the list of car types, seeing your waiting time and far upfront
