Pinoys enraged over videos of two alleged Koreans spitting and tearing PH flag

- Advertisment -

Two alleged Koreans have created videos tearing down, spitting, and stomping on an illustration of the Philippine national flag.

The netizens claimed to be Koreans drew the flag on a piece of paper, however, the other one showed no stars and the other one lacked the rays of the sun.

Filipinos expressed disappointment over the videos, saying that they are very disrespectful. Some say it’s an insult to the country’s flag.

The online feud between Koreans and Filipinos has started from a TikTok video of Bella Poarch, flexing an arm tattoo that showed Japan’s Rising Sun flag.

The influencer received a major backlash from the Korean community, saying that they were ‘hurt and offended’ with the tattoo as it reminded them of the country’s dark history under the Japanese occupation.

Bella has later issued an apology, promising to have her tattoo removed. She also encouraged everyone to educate themselves about it.
