A Dubai-based manager has recently been charged for sexually abusing a female employee. The abuse happened while they were inside their company’s car.

The victim, a Pakistani woman, 32, is working in a real estate company. She claimed that her manager was touching her body inappropriately several times between 2017 and 2018.

She added that the manager, a 59-year-old Pakistani national, has also sent her WhatsApp messages, seeking an illegal affair with her.

“I was ordered to use the company car to complete transactions in government departments. The defendant escorted me about 25 times during my trips. Sometimes he used to touch my body while I was driving and I asked him to stop,” she said.

The Pakistani woman further said that her manager touched her when there were no other employees around.

“He sent me WhatsApp messages, seeking to have an illegal affair with me. I refused and he fired me in 2019,” she said.
